Founded by Amber Shader, the creative entrepreneur behind F+L Boutique, F+L Home focuses on mini renovations, no-demo transformations, and elevated “look for less” interiors—thoughtfully reimagining existing spaces through color, texture, lighting, furnishings, wallpaper, textiles, and timeless details. Our approach is rooted in creating homes that are beautiful, functional, personal, and designed to be lived in. We bridge the gap between DIY homeowner design and traditional high-end, full-service interior design, offering a more approachable and thoughtful way to create a beautiful home without the need to gut and completely renovate it.
Rather than starting from scratch, F+L Home believes great design often comes from seeing what’s already there differently. We combine thoughtful sourcing with practical design solutions, helping clients refresh and elevate their homes without the cost, time, or disruption of a full-scale renovation.
F+L Home is also a brick-and-mortar home boutique, design studio, and sample library, offering a curated collection of home decor, wallpaper, textiles, furnishings, and distinctive gifts. Every piece is selected with the F+L aesthetic in mind—collected, layered, timeless, and never overly matched.

We will build your color palette, develop mood boards, and guide you through paint colors, wallpaper, furniture, art, rugs, window treatments, and decorative accents. Need help with hard finishes? We have got you covered! Lighting, tile, flooring, countertops, and hardware are all part of the plan.

ROOM REFRESH

Need help bringing your vision to life? Our Room Refresh service is perfect for anyone who is visual and craves a stylish, pulled-together space without the stress.
We start by creating a cohesive design plan that includes a personalized color palette, mood board, wall covering and paint selections, along with furniture and decor suggestions. You will receive a curated shopping list with direct links and access to our exclusive trade discounts—up to 25% off—at top retailers like Pottery Barn, West Elm, and our favorite local shops.
This service is available virtually or in person, though we love meeting our clients face-to-face to get a true sense of your space and style.
Available within 30 minutes of Middletown, Delaware. Travel fees apply for locations beyond.
COLOR CONSULTATION
$300
If you want a designer look without a full renovation, start with the right color palette. Our Color Consultation is the most impactful (and budget-friendly) way to transform your home. A cohesive color scheme is the foundation for every interior styling decision, and we are here to help you get it just right.
As certified color experts, we use color theory, directional lighting, and spatial flow to choose the perfect hues for your home. Whether you are trying to tone down yellow undertones, make small rooms feel larger, or create seamless transitions between spaces, we will recommend paint colors and decor-friendly palettes that work with your home, not against it.
Following your in-home consultation, you’ll receive:
• A custom mood board with 4–5 curated paint colors
• Paint finish recommendations for each space
• Notes from our visit with helpful styling tips
• Our trusted list of go-to vendors for paint and wall coverings
We also offer designer wall coverings from Phillip Jeffries and Thibaut, which include easy-to-clean vinyls for high-traffic areas, elegant paper weaves, textured grasscloths, and more. With our help you can avoid expensive mistakes.

Need help pulling it all together? Whether you are starting from scratch or working with pieces you already own and love, our Personal Shopping & Styling service brings your space to life with thoughtful, elevated design.
Offered as a standalone service or the perfect complement to our Room Refresh, we take care of the shopping, sourcing, and in-home styling. We will curate art, accessories, pillows, and other finishing touches to create a space that feels polished, personal, and totally you.
We can also assist with hard finish selections - think countertops, tile, flooring, and hardware. Whether we meet you in the showroom or bring samples directly to your home, we streamline the process so you can feel confident in every decision.
